I'd Like To Show You A Million Things

So my mom arrives in t-minus 4 hours and I'm getting pretty excited.  I don't have time to post very much (or make good on my promise in my poll... there will be more time once I am not traveling at hyper speed), but figured I could make a quick, illustrated guide to our itinerary.

 We're going to take Tokyo and eat everything

 Like unagi-don (first meal in Japan)!

Stare at the locals

 Then on to Kamakura 

 Gotta show everyone my 'hood

 And then force them to sing karaoke, natch.

 Introducing the 'rents... You'd swear I was getting married with that sentence.  Who knows what my host parents have in store for us.

Forward march to Kyoto!

 Stayin' at a ryokan near the famed Kiyomizu-dera

 Perhaps we shall be entertained by some maiko

 Take in some reflection at the Hiroshima Peace Park

 

EAT ALL THE LOCAL FARE

 

 

 And see the famous sites.

 

AND THEN EAT MORE

 

 

 Say "hollah" to Fuji-san

 Relax and think about our trip at the onsen...
